Meet the Staff

Carole Warner 

Carole Warner is a Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Laser Technician, and a Certified Ideal Protein Weight Loss Consultant. She started her career with us at Red Deer Chiropractic in 2009.  Carole attended the Alberta Institute of Massage completing the 1st and 2nd year program.  Carole specializes in therapeutic massage, myofacial cupping and pregnancy massage.  She is very enthusiastic about her occupation as she greatly enjoys assisting people in changing their lives and finds it incredibly rewarding. We're very pleased to have Carole as a member of our team!

Larissa Romanov

Larissa Romanov is a Registered Massage Therpaist, Certified Sports Massage Therapist, Certified Laser Technician, and a level Two Cranial Sacral Therapist.  Larissa has worked with us since 2001, and we're very glad to have her on board with us! Originally from Russia, she was inspired to pursue a career in "chiropracy" and the art of healing from a young age through her family.  In addition to her Massage certifications from the Alberta Institue of Massage, she recently completed a level one and level two course in Cranial Sacral Therapy. She is a very friendly, outgoing, and a positive individual who's dedicated to helping patients acheive their desired results.

Kelly Pickering

Kelly Pickering started with Red Deer Chiropractic and Laser Centre since 2005 as a "Laser Technician in Training." Utilizing previous anatomy training, she job shadowed Dr. Teresa Demas using the Bioflex Laser System before completing her Laser Certification training in Toronto in 2006. Having a keen interest and desire to learn more about the laser system, Kelly traveled to Vancouver and completed an advanced training course specializing in low back injuries. She continues ongoing learning in the field and looks forward to completing other advanced training courses. She prides herself on providing high quality, compassionate care and finds it very rewarding to help individuals heal and live pain free lives. Her secondary duties include office photography, computer maintenance, and some marketing duties. We're glad to have such a passionate and ambitious individual as member of our team!

Barb Quaife

Barb Quaife works as our chiropractic assistant, as well as managing the front desk. She maintains a warm, caring, and friendly atmosphere at the clinic and strives to create positive interactions with our patients, that each one deserves. She is pleased to work with our dedicated team that focuses on the wellness of our patients, and shares our strong values of maintaining good health and well-being. Her kind and caring attributes are reflected through her attitude here at the Red Deer Chiropractic and Laser Centre and we very much enjoy having Barb work with us!

Jenny Phelps

Jenny Phelps is our office manager, most often seen maintaing the reception desk of our busy practice! Jenny is also trained as a consultant for the Ideal Protein weight loss program.  She's an excellent addition to the team through her bubbly and warm personality as well as her positive perspectives on the art of healing. The part of her job that she enjoys the most is the opportunity to work with other people and helping them improve their quality of life, through both regular chiropractic care, or through the Ideal Protein weight loss program.

Marilyn Childlow

Marilyn Childlow jouned our team with her husband, Dr. Glenn Chidlow in April 2011. You will find her smiling face at our front desk, usually on Saturdays. She has numerous training courses as an expert patient advocate. Marilyn managed and worked along-side Dr. Glenn at Ponoka Family Chiropractic for 40 years. Marilyn's happy and perky personality helps attribute to our positive atmosphere and it's a great pleasure having her as a member of the team!
